I hope this is a good forum to ask about this as I saw other
references to vnc reflector here. I am interested in using it
for a internal project we have but am having problems as
per below...

Here is how I want to use the program:

clients
192.168.0.209
                          | ---vncreflector---- 192.168.0.111 server
192.168.0.208 192.168.0.7

After downloading and compiling the program onto my redhat fedora machine
I created these files as per the README and a howto I found on the web...

PASSWD_FILE
passit
test

HOST_INFO_FILE
192.168.0.111:0 testpass

I started my vnc server on 192.168.0.111 and started the vnc-reflector

./vncreflector -p PASSWD_FILE -i PID_FILE -l 5999 HOST_INFO_FILE

The logfile has this...

28/05/04 19:24:51 + Starting VNC Reflector 1.2.4
28/05/04 19:24:51 - Switched to the background mode
28/05/04 19:24:51 + Connecting to 192.168.0.111, port 5900
28/05/04 19:24:51 + Connection established
28/05/04 19:24:51 - Remote RFB Protocol version is 3.3
28/05/04 19:24:51 + Authentication successful
28/05/04 19:24:51 + Remote desktop geometry is 1280x1024
28/05/04 19:24:51 - Remote desktop name: firefly
28/05/04 19:24:51 + Activating new host connection

That part apears to work...
When I attempt to connect from 192.168.0.208 using either
passit or test for the passwords I get a permission denied
message. Any Ideas on what is wrong?

Thanks
Mark
By the way thanks in advance for help in this!
