Already mentioned that some additional items like Alt-Tab WOULD indeed be nice for task switching.
On my XP-SP1 PC at home with [EMAIL PROTECTED] running as the screen saver, power off monitor after 20 minutes (all other power disabled), and fast user switching: 1) If the system has been off for hours, I get only a black screen on a remote connect. Do I have to disable the fast user switching? Not a problem if I do. 2) If the system has partly gone to sleep, my MS Optical mouse goes to sleep. The screen will wake-from-lan, but the mouse stays asleep (and not displayed). So -- when I run viewer, I can see the desktop, and as long as my viewer mouse is moveing I get the dot and arrow, but if I stop or try to click on something the server side computer won't react since IT'S mouse is asleep. Any thoughts from anyone on this one? I'm running a seperate FTP program on all computers. What is the general concensus of adding basic FTP to RealVNC? Also cross-printing abilities so you can sit in LA and print in NY or vice-versa? This is by FAR the most useful remote Access software I have used to date. GO OPEN SOURCE! John E.
