I think you use the display number option. By default the server is listening on 5800, and data is transferred through 5900. By putting "1" in the display number, it would then be listening on 5801 and transfer on 5901. I think that is how it works.
So if you wanted it to be on port 30000 you would put 24200 in the display number. This is only a guess, I don't know for sure if this is how it works.
