New to VNC need a little help getting set up.

I have just downloaded RealVNC to my WinXP Home machine and I trying to 
access it from my Mac w/ OSX.  I currently fileshare between the 
machines and they ping  The are networked through an ethernet hub.  On 
my Mac I am running Chicken of the VNC.  
(http://sourceforge.net/projects/cotvnc/)  When I go to connect with 
Chicken VNC I get a window with the pc's name at the top that quickly 
disappears.  Then I get an error message saying "zlibhex unknown 
subencoding 114 encountered."  I have turned off fast user switching on 
the pc and also tried turning off the zlibhex encoding in Chicken.  I 
have not found any other mac vnc viewers, vncthing came up in an 
internet search but the website is gone(webthing.net).  It sure would 
be great if RealVNC had a mac viewer.  But from what I have read the 
different programs should theoretically be compatible.  If someone 
knows of another viewer that I should try that would be great too.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
