I've never eXPerienced (pun intended) any issues using VNC on Windows XP
Professional. Then again, I don't agree with Microsoft's choices for
their defaults. The Luna theme is absolutely horrific, and 'Fast User
Switching' is rather resource hungry -- these are a few of the many
items I change immediately after installing XP.

I do believe that there may be an issue with Remote Desktop and VNC when
ran simultaneously...

As far as the restriction of RC software used to access the XP Desktop,
<sarcasm>WOW -- I wonder how much better VNC would be for me if
Microsoft removed the restriction.</sarcasm> Somehow, I have a very
good feeling that it wouldn't be any different at all.
