Hello All, It seems I am yet another VNC user who cannot get windows XP to work properly. I have spent quite a while browsing through the VNC list archives, and i see a number of people who have had my problem, but it seems they all managed to fix it. except me, so let me get down to business. I am trying to connect between two computers, both running windows XP corporate edition (which, as far as i can tell, is a modified version of pro), using both the VNC server and the viewer on both machines. I cannot connect to either computer, it times out. I know the computers are properly connected over the network because i can access them without any trouble over windows networking. I have disabled fast user switching and the built in windows XP firewall. I use zonealarm pro as my firewall, but even when I disabled it, i still could not connect. I have a third computer on my network, which is running windows 98, and both XP computers can connect to that computer through the viewer, so I know my problem is with the server on my XP machines.
