I know that this question has probably been asked and answered a hundred
times but I couldn't find anything in the archives that answered my
question. I currently have a home network (peer to peer, no servers per
say) and I would enjoy the benefit of being able to connect to those PC's
from work, friends houses, etc... My host PC, the one with internet
connection (cable modem by the way) has two nic cards. One connecting to
the cable modem and one connecting to the network switch. My main goal is
to obtain connection to this host pc, connecting to the other pc's on the
network would just be gravy on top. The host pc runs Windows XP pro and
utilizes the integrated Windows XP firewall. For the interest of example
we'll say the cable modem nic ip address is : 20.100.100.50 and the lan ip
address is: 50:100:100:20. Ok, I'll admit that I'm a virtual idiot when it
comes to configuring ports and the like. So detailed instructions would be
preferred.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

p.s. Oh, and by the way I have tried Gotomypc.com and it does ok but is
pricey at 19.95 per month to connect to 1 pc. It doesn't appear to be that
good but I really don't have anything to compare it to yet.
