Hello, I run vncservers/clients on all the machines on my network..and it all works fine except in one single case. If I try to connect to the vncserver running on a FreeBSD machine from my laptop from either RedHat Linux or Windows XP it loads incredibly slowly. All other client/server combinations works fine. These include vareties of Linux, Windows, FreeBSD. They are all on a 100MB ethernet going through a switch. The laptop is a beefy Pentium4 1.8Ghz with 256 MB DDR memory..and has no problems with anything else.
Does anyone have a clue..? p.s. What is "tightvnc" as opposed to "vnc" ? Could this be something to do with it ? -- Regards Cliff Sarginson The Netherlands [ This mail has been checked as virus-free ] _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
