Hope to rectify some matters.
I've got a Windows XP Professional setup with RealVNC. Many times i tried,
connecting to my client, with or without firewall enabled, VNC still prompts
me the same thing over and over again. "javanet.noroute tohostexception:
operation timed out". This is so infuriating. Heres my settings...
Internet Explorer 6.0
with Firewall,
TCP 5800 Enabled
TCP 5900 Enabled
Both Inbound and Outbound allowed.
result: javanet.noroute tohostexception: operation timed out
without Firewall,
result: javanet.noroute tohostexception: operation timed out
I've tracked and started using winvnc A year or two, I don't see a reason why
this is happening after i updated to realvnc.
