Hi Tony,

I think this is probably the same as bug #4 listed at
http://www.realvnc.com/3.3.4-known-bugs.html

The workaround for the moment is to use the -noauto flag to the viewer to
disable the automatic format/encoding selection.  It should be fixed in the
next version....
