This has been a long standing issue for me (years). It seams that one of "Shift Keys" get stuck in the interface. Normally when I see this, I press the the ALT a few times, then CONTROL a few times, the SHIFT a few times. And then all is repaired.
Its been a very minor issues and effect both Linux and Windows clients/servers. Jackb > I have seen the same thing.
