Sorry I am a mainframe programmer, all our terminals are dump ;-)   
I wanted to say: X11terminal, but all applications run on one server

There is a projekt running krfb, renamed to destopsharing that does want I 
want partiulary but it is too new for a production system.

Server*s* ?? Do you mean the server with the application or the xservers?

Just for my understanding. 
Right now I boot the server until the x server is up and than I leave the 
server allone. The terminals mount the certain directories from the server 
and start the aplications on the server. 

How does that now work with vncserver and the viewer? I guess you say I should 
run a vncserver on my "appication"server and vncviewer on the Terminals?
