Hi, My Xvnc dies on a regular basis when I launch netscape on my Solaris CDE. Lot of other X applications make the server crash too. One of the stack traces I have for server crash is, ===> Stack 1:
SIGSEGV: Segmentation Fault (address not mapped to object) stopped at: cfb32FillRectTile32Copy+0x140: st %o3, [%l1 + 0x14] $C cfb32FillRectTile32Copy(944b64,bc,0,ffbeda80,ffbeda6c,f528c) + 140 [savfp=0xffbeda00,savpc=0xf1b7c] cfb32PolyFillRect(ffffdff8,ffbeda78,ffffffff,3a20000,241,3a2) + 36c [savfp=0xffbefa88,savpc=0x3cc60] ProcPolyFillRectangle(10,118,3cb34,15fb0c,1892c0,0) + 12c [savfp=0xffbefaf8,savpc=0x39b74] Dispatch(146000,181800,181800,ffbefd10,0,39bac) + 22c [savfp=0xffbefd68,savpc=0x27344] main(c,ffbefe44,176ff8,15f554,15f4f4,181990) + 3b8 [savfp=0x0,savpc=0x26df0] <======== This happens only when I use depth 24 or depth 16 on the server. Is this a known bug ? If it is is it fixed ? Since I am new to debugging X servers what info should I look for to extract more info out of this situation ? regards Kiran <==== _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
