Hi, Cecilia. As you are going to traverse the Internet, you should tunnel the VNC over SSH. So if you find an SSH client supporting HTTP Proxy, you can do what you want to do. And yes, there is such a SSH client. It's Mindterm. It supports HTTP Proxy, Socks and has many nice features. The last free version of Mindterm was 2.1, then the authors turned it to commercial. I can send you off-line the free version.
