My contacts at Amazon tell me that they believe this is related to an internal
AWS bug they're currently working on. I don't have a firm timeline for a fix
being rolled out, but they've promised to keep me in the loop and when they get
their bug fixed they're going to verify that the FreeBSD issue is resolved.
