I knew this rang a bell ...
The problem was that the SPICE server was configured to listen on the
wildcard address (0.0.0.0).
<graphics type='spice' autoport='yes' listen='0.0.0.0'>
<listen type='address' address='0.0.0.0'/>
</graphics>
Getting rid of the listen address makes things work.
