As I recall, the Apple Bluetooth keyboard uses the top right corner key, which I think is just to the right of F12. I don't use the hardware keyboard anymore with the improved typing methods we have now and the Braille display. I had a student not long ago that said the virtual keyboard was not showing up on screen, and it turned out that they hit that show/hide keyboard key on their Apple keyboard, which hid the virtual keyboard as well.
