Hi Les, I wouldn't worry too much about the Juice pack/case, but let your phone die, don't charge it until it turns off by itself. If it is at 1% just play some music for a bit and that way you will know when it goes. I usually also remove all other apps from the app switcher so that when it powers up again there is nothing there.
