Hi, I am running 8.1.1 on a 4s. After running it for about 3 days now, I would say that it is quite a bit more sluggish than 7.1.2 but I do not regret updating. I find that it is less sluggish on my iPad III, probably because of the increased RAM, even though the iPad III has basically the same CPU (aside from the graphics processor).

It's definitely a bit snappier on the iPhone 4S, although I never complained about the performance of IOS 8 on the 4S, except when loading some emails and web sites, and that problem stil persists, although maybe it is a bit better with IOS 8.1.1. For the most part the bugs that bothered me with IOS 8.1, which are not device specific, are still present in IOS 8.1.1., so with the exception of it being a bit snappier, I haven't seen a big difference between IOS 8.1 and IOS 8.1.1. Remmeber, this could be very specific to how I use my phone, so definitely consider the opinions of others.
