Hi Hank, it's on the right hand side of the phone, just below the power button 
and pretty much directly opposite the volume down button on the other side of 
the phone. You can probably use a paperclip to eject the tray since apparently 
Apple does not ship the SIM removal tool with iPhones in the United States. 
Even with its official tool, it requires quite a firm press in the tiny hole to 
pop the tray out.
