I got the 16GB 6 Plus. I really meant to pre-order the 64GB, but
it wasn't available when I was ordering on the first day, so I
told myself the 16GB would be okay. And, in my case, maybe it
indeed will be.
I do have the KNFB Reader on my phone, and I don't store
documents or books and things of that nature. Also, with the
16GB, those free apps such as Pages were indeed not installed,
although I guess I could get them if I wanted.
When I checked my 16GB iPhone 4S running iOS 8.0.2, it showed the
capacity as being 12.7GB, and the amount available as 10.0GB.
Then, when I setup my iPhone 6 Plus 16GB by restoring from an
encrypted iTunes backup after updating it to iOS 8.0.2, that
phone showed the capacity as 11.8GB and the amount available as
being 9.2GB. There was a difference of 2.7GB used on my 4S, as
opposed to 2.6 on my 6 Plus, but I'm guessing that the plus usage
will increase up to 2.7 or more once I start using the apps on my
phone. But, even if an over the air iOS update takes between 5
and 6GB to install, I might just be okay, or of course could
always use iTunes where less space would be needed.

Also, those preloaded apps only come on the 64 and 128, not the
16.

Yes, but you can delete the pre-installed apps. You still can't
delete
things like Stocks, Calendar, or other stock apps, but you can
remove Pages,
iMovie, and others you don't want.

Greetings. Those considering what size to get, consider that
with
either the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, Apple has more stock aps preloaded
than
they did before, such as Podcasts, Pages, keynote, Numbers,
Garage
Band, an several more. If you are picky about space, you might
want to
consider the top limit of 128 GB. I just got my new iPhone 6
yesterday
and noticed that with all my music and apps, there was still a
good 23
GB left over, which was a bit less han on my prior iPhone 5.
Probably
won't matter to most, but thought I'd mention it all the same.
This is
till good for me but the numbers were a little bit of a surprise.

Hi Pam,
The KNFB Reader does not store things on your phone unless you

even
on a 16 Gb phone.

I don't store any of the things you mentioned or at least not
much. I'm
concerned going forward though because I'm interested in the new
KNFB app.

It all depends on your expected usage. That is, if you never
store music,
movies, audio books, tons of voices, or huge apps on your phone,
16GB is
fine. If, however, the extra 48GB is worth the $100 so you *can*
fit all
the
stuff I just listed, that's fine too. Basically, there's no
functional
difference between the two, and the 64GB is $100 more. Only you
know if the
price increase and thereby storage increase is worth it.
Personally, I have
a 16GB phone that currently has 4GB free, but no music or movies
on it, and
I don't use audio books.

I'd say 64gb if you can afford it. I've heard people lament
about having
not
enough storage; I don't think I've ever heard anybody complain
about having
too much storage. Besides this, quite a few people had to dump
stuff off
their 16gb devices to download and/or install this time, though
this is
less
of a problemif you use iTunes. But I would say you should go for
the 64gb
if
you can afford it.

I tried and tried to turn over a new leaf.
I got crumpled wads of tear-stained paper
thrown in the trash!
Then God gave me a new heart and life:
His joy for my despairing tears!
And now, every day:
"This I call to mind,
and therefore I have hope:
The steadfast love of the Lord
never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness."
