Why not? It is not officially supported, but I was able to read a
discription of a french product. It does not support my language yet. Yes,
maybe it is not working as well and fast as on newer devices, but at least
it is working. Unfortunately I was not been able to read a computer screen.

And, it's fast. Very fast, between taking a picture and getting speech.

it's possible to use other apps, but I've found nothing this simple,
