Hi, What happens if you try to restore from iCloud via the phone? Does that show any newer backups? Not overly sure why it would do, but it has to be worth a go. As a side note, whilst iCloud backup is handy, this is exactly why I choose to do local backups before I restore. Sure it's nice to know that there will in theory be a remote copy of most of your things, but given the fairly small amount of time required to backup locally every now and again it seems like a no brainer to me.
