There is no onscreen only VoiceOver gesture for Quicknav, as far as I can see.

Now I didn't upgrade to iOS8, but I do have a bluetooth keyboard that can use
Quicknav. To toggle it, left- and right-arrow keys pressed together. (This you
no doubt know.) What i was trying to say was that the nearest gesture to it
available, without an external keyboard, might be to switch or cycle the rotor
from one setting to another. Or, put it in other terms, how do you get from
read-only to edit, and stay in edit without reverting? I don't think you can
'permanently', from what I've heard of the VO bugs in iOS8.

As far as I'm aware, flicking left and right move the Voiceover cursor left
and right,. Which rotor setting are you referring to?

  Thanks,

    Hi,

    (Correcting the subject line, LOL.)

it might have been flick lef/flick right, but each flick does one or the
other. The gesture nearest to it seems to be to change the rotor setting.

Just changing the subject to correct my typo. Or Braillo, as it were. :)

        Hi, All,
There's a method to my madness. I notice that with the current glitches
in Bluetooth keyboard usage in iOS8, QkNav has to be turned off and on. The
Braille command doesn't work, but my Bluetooth keyboard does. Now, suppose it
isn't handy? I do notice that even on-screen text entry is affected by the
QkNav setting in Voiceover, which is why I have this curious question.

        Thanks,
        Teresa
