Well, I cracked the Braille Screen input. Just hold it like you would for 
MBraille, first put it in screen away mode then put it back into tabletop mode. 
This works nicely from here on. To switch modes I just hold the phone in both 
hands mid air so it thinks I want to use it away from a surface, then 
immediately place the phone back on a surface which is my lap in this case but 
I guess a table would also work.
