On my iPhone 5, I use the male voice with no choppiness whether Voice-Over
is on or off. If you have Voice-Over on, turn it off and see if the
choppiness problem is solved. Just a thought.

Has anyone noticed a decreased quality in the Siri voice in iOS eight? It
seems much more choppy and not of us I am quality as the voiceover voice. I
tried switching from male to female voice but that did not change anything.
