Hi there. I had found this new product on Amazon called the Lario HD Music
receiver. It is a little oval-shaped thing that fits into a 30-pin dock that
brings airplay audio to the dock. When I plugged it in the first time, I got
it configured OK through the Lario Music app, and can play 1 source for as
long as I want, but it seems that when I disconnect by stopping that app or
switching to something else, the airplay disappears. I had emailed the
address in the about section of the app, and they sent me a different unit.
This one does the same thing, I can play airplay fine for one session, and
then the device has to be undocked and reconnected to allow another
connection. When it does play, it doesn't seem to drop out at all. How can I
make it so that I don't have to keep getting up and replugging this thing,
just so I can switch apps? I've also tried the device with a program called
Remote Speakers on my PC, and that works the same way. I could add as many
files to a playlist in Winamp using this as I want, but if I hit pause or
let the last file end, playing anything else will sit on a connecting
dialog. Is there something I need to do to my wifi to eliminate the need for
the little airplay adapter to not need a restart, or does the thing likely
have some kind of bug that not everyone gets?
Thanks.
