Hi,

No, with this problem, you can’t re-install over the top because you get a
message that the installation has to stop because you’re missing a DLL file.
After removing the components, you have to completely remove iTunes and
re-install from scratch. Believe me, I had enough trouble in the past 24 hours
with this update to last me a lifetime.

I’m not sure what they do but I’m having trouble getting itunes to update and
someone here suggested I remove certain things before reinstalling itunes and I
deleted the email by accident telling me what to delete.

This is the first I’ve heard of these Apple Support options. Can you describe
what they do and how they’re used? Thanks..

Hi,

There is apple mobile device support and apple software support. Should I
delete both before trying to reinstall itunes or just the apple mobile device
support?

Can I then use apple software updates to reinstall itunes again?
