The simple answer is, I tried to make it as easy for you as possible. It
does however assume a few things though.
1 It assumes you have a previous copy of the app stored in iTunes, apps.
2 It assumes too that you even have iTunes installed on your computer.
Assuming the 2 items above are correct and you do have them on your
computer, then the simple steps I've already described for you will do what
I said they will. I know when I first got my iPhone and asked questions,
those who made it as simple as possible rather then those who what I thought
were showing off, <grin> were the steps I followed most often.

If you have synced your device with your computer, then it's likely you
have
the previous version saved there from a previous sync. Delete the app in
question from your device by doing a double tap and hold and then double
tap
again to delete the app from your device. Then sync your device with your
computer again and the previous version will then be copied back to your
device.
