Controlling the set-top box insofar as changing channels, yes. Browsing the EPG and setting the DVR, yes. Playing back programs, NO NO A THOUSAND TIMES NO! I just can't imagine why this isn't possible through the app. Either that, or I'm doing something wrong, the more likely reason.
