Once in the pages area, I only have to double-tap repeatedly on the close page button. Knowing where the close page button is on the screen is a very big benefit. The power of the touchscreen is that one gets a two-dimensional view. This is very effective when a person explores the screen rather than just relying on flicking. The pages control window remains open until closed.
