In a perfect world...the only thing I would want Voiceover to automatically
speak while I am on a call is if another one comes in. Smile.

Hi Kevin,

Once again, and I think I am replying for the last time to this thread, I
don't want Voiceover deactivated or turned off, all I am asking is that
Voiceover does not start to automatically read incoming text messages,
emails or push notifications if there is an active phone call. This is no
different from not wanting to have Voiceover automatically announce the time
every 30 seconds or Voiceover speaking notifications and such if Do Not
Disturb is on.
I am not a programmer, but if Voiceover can be told not to speak when Do Not
Disturb is on, then I think it is most likely possible that Voiceover can be
told not to speak automatically when a call is active.

Regards,
Sieghard

Hi Sieghard.

I could see a problem with VoiceOver automaticly being deactivated during a
call. What do you do if you need to enter options on your touch tone pad,
such as a bank account number? I want this information to be available to
me. Maybe there could be an option to deactivate all other VO functions
while on the phone, but then you lose the ability to do other things such as
refer to an email a caller wants to get information from. Oh well,
nothing's perfect.
