I played 7 little words the other day, and I didn't notice much of a difference. I've always found the screen a bit cluttered and messy.
I was still able to find the list of clues, the blank letter spots to the right, then the grid of letter combos below. I either flicked my finger around the letter combos or moved my finger along the screen. Double tap on the combo you want, until you have the word spelled out, then double tap on guess. I've never been a huge fan of this game, so maybe I'm not noticing the changes. I only play it occasionally. :) HTH, Traci 1 step, 2 step, ... 1,311 steps!
