I believe the Voice Dream Reader will read DAISY content and it's an excellent app. I think it reads DAISY because it does work with Bookshare titles. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. The developer is also a member of this list and listens to suggestions made here for improvements. Here's the link to the app:
