Since the iPhone has no built-in receiver for radio frequencies they all work only using online feeds and that is the only way for this to work just as the only way to listen to FM or AM radio is via apps like Ootunes or Tune In since the iPhone has no actual FM and/or AM receiver.
Regards, Sieghard From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Troy Sullivan Sent: Sunday, March 03, 2013 12:40 PM To: [email protected] Subject: question about police scanner apps Is there an app that works like a regular police scanner? Like for example an app that I can put in freqs of my own that I like without connecting to feeds? or do all police scanner apps work off of online feeds.
