I do it this way:- 1, write msg in BT
2, flick and tap send text, 3, in the msg app, find the add from address book, find contact and appropriate number, 4, flick around to check I got the content in the msg field, 5, tap send. Not failed yet. Alternative: open msg app, navigate to the point you got an addressed msg, then either of - double-click Home and see if you have BT in there to switch to so you can type your msg, or failing that, click Home once and leave the app in that state while you open BT and type your msg, flick to menu and copy to clipboard. Now double-click Home and return to msg app, find and open text field for msg and paste!, then flick along to Send.
