I purchased cloud space a few months ago, thinking it a good place to store
photos and files. I also have iTunes Match to share music between my phone
and my husband's iPod. Then I discovered the joys of Drop Box and am now
syncing files with my computer and my phone and my work computer. (last
weekend we were visiting my parents and I had my entire older of recipes
that I have downloaded with me when we cooked dinner for my parents. Pretty
cool!)

Anyway, is having all of this redundant? I don't want to cancel iCloud until
I know it's ok to do so. The things I know want to do at this point are:

1. Sync files etween computers (that's Drop Box and it's working fine)

2. Share music between my iPhone and my husband's iPod (that's iTunes
Match and it's working fine)

3. Back up my apps and other phone programs (that's iCloud and Ii
suppose it's working fine, but who really knows?)

4. Store my husband's 1,500 or so photos so they don't need to take up
space on our idevices; those photos are currently on our PC and in iCloud.
Is drop box good for that or do I then get into having to buy space from
Drop Box?

And who knows what else I will want to do soon that I don't know about yet?

I'd appreciate some insight.

Sandy
