You need to take this up with Apple Accessibility. I tried to in 2012 and the
subject in my case was the Magazine Stand. I got no useful response from Apple
on this. To paraphrase their response to my request for some means of Apple
updating their VoiceOver users as to which magazines become usable with
VoiceOver and which publishers are unwilling to enable VoiceOver accessibility
was that the publishers are responsible for making their magazines accessible.
Completely useless. An Apple accessibility announcements only email list could
have been set up and used for this purpose but the corporation dropped the
Apple in this case. You're not the first to have raised this issue either, the
appleviz website has a thread on it already too.
