Hi. I'm running into two problems, one small and the other major. The small problem concerns my iPad. When I unlock the screen and am about to enter the unlock code, it always puts an 8 in the edit box. I've learned to hit backspace to get rid of it. Wonder what's going on?
The other issue is really strange, and it has impacted both my iPad and iPhone. Yesterday I got the personal voice I created from my iPad to my iPhone air. When I got home and tried to unlock my iPhone, it was speaking in Mandarin Chinese Mainland. It took about all evening to get it sorted out, but last night the voice I created worked fine on both devices. I went to sleep, and when I woke this morning, I noticed my iPad was acting strange. I did close the iPad in the magic keyboard case, and didn't think anything of it. The only thing I did which also changed in my iPad was to turn off the call screening feature on my iPhone. Now, when I got a call, my iPad told me the numbers, but in the Mandarin voice. I tried to work with my iPad, but the voice from it wasn't working well, just speaking for a very short time, like less than half a second. A call to Apple Accessibility got things sorted out, and my iPad now is speaking with the Samantha voice. Last time I checked my iPhone, it was still using my personal voice, and it sounds great. Anyone else ran into this issue? If so, what's up? I'm not happy. I missed the Lakers losing, and I've mist a lot of the Alabama Georgia game. Oh well, I think Georgia is ahead, and that makes me happy. If you disagree with me on that issue, no problem. If Alabama wins, I'll never ever never never ever watch another football game. I did say the same thing when Kentucky lost at basketball a few years ago, and I've stuck to it. I haven't seen a basketball game for years. Now there's a loophole here. I don't watch any games. As for listening to them, well that's different, which means it's not, at least in my view. All out there, don't work too hard.
