The reference to Siri was strictly for opening the Messages app to check the 2-factor authentication number which often is sent by text and I assume you could then again ask Siri to go back to Safari or whatever browser app you use. I pointed out that generally there is no need to even leave the browser to get the security number nor is it usually even necessary to enter it manually since once a text message or email is received and you are in the edit field for the security/2Factor number, you can just check right above where the Q and W is and you should see a message with the security code, you just double tap on it and it will be inserted into the right field. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of CJ & AA MAY Sent: Saturday, September 20, 2025 3:27 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Jumping from ap to app quickly
Yes, I saw the message where it was suggested you could find the security number close to the keypad lay-out and I will certainly try this the next time I need to insert a security number, but I was just curious about the method you mentioned using Siri. Basically what I was saying that I ask Siri to go to whatever app I wish to poen whilst on another, especially frpor checkin a code sent to me by my bank, that kind of thing.
