You do it in the messages app. You open messages, then open the message that you want to block. Then you double tap on the person's name or phone number which ever shows up. Then you swipe through the options until you hear info and you double tap that then you swipe down to block this caller and select that. Voiceover will then confirm that you want to block the caller. You then double tap okay and then the caller is blocked from then on. You then go to the top of the screen and double tap back and and then I think done. Them I usually delete the message and report it as junk for good measure. Then I think “Block Caller” is the last item before you get into the tabs along the bottom. Keep in mind that once you block the person, they can still call you, but your phone won’t ring and they will be forwarded to your voice mail and if they still want to leave you nasty voice mails, then they can do so. Basically, blocking calls on the iPhone is done on the device level, whoever calls you may just think you didn’t pick up the call. If you want to block somebody from even leaving you a voice message, you would have to reach out to your carrier and ask them to block the number.
