if this is about the BBC Sounds app users of such when out of the UK for 
a month or so thatt app will no longer work for them in the wa it was 
meant.

Think then users are directed to the BBC app, bbc.com.

They have done that in the past, preventing access through 
geo-blocking of commentaries on live sporting events to destinations 
outside the UK. These geo-blockings were not 24/7.


However, I believe that the following is a more likely reflection of 
the situation.


It's been  verified that there was an update to the BBC Sounds App on 
Monday or Tuesday, within the UK, along with the previous app's being 
withdrawn from non-UK App Stores throughout last Monday.


That updated app has negated the ability of older BBC Sounds apps to 
stream BBC Sounds outside the UK.


Already for a long time before then, and now, one could not download 
the IPlayer  - the BBC's Television app - from non-UK App Stores.


Thus, now, a similar nonusability pertains to both of these BBC apps 
for non-UK residents outside the UK - (except for UK residents who 
have the most up-to-date apps and are out of the UK for short periods 
of time).

Flor, Thanks for the information re VPN.

It's unfortunate but we'll get by as there alternatives out there 
for sure.

Yes we'll mist the listen on demand, rewind/fast forward facilities 
byut there a number of radio apps where you can do just that and 
many BBC radio programmes can be scheduled to download to them.

BBC Sounds still rworks on my Alexa speaker bgbut for how long who 
knows, a statement rather than a question.

Tunein doesn't work on Alexa for BBC Radio and as for the app don't 
think so.

I live in Ireland for anyone for relevsncy for anyone who doesn't know.
