I find that often the best discounts at least here in Canada don’t come until Black Friday. When I read the tech news I see many articles mentioning very good discounts on various iPhone models, if you really need a new phone now (or if your daughter does and she will get your phone) then ask at stores like Best Buy, Tartet, etc. what deals they have and also ask your carrier and then decide if whatever deal is being offered sounds good.
