For the first time I can remember, or at least the first time in a while,
the VoiceOver sound on my 15 Pro and my former 13 Mini sounds somewhat
different than on the 16 Plus I just recently set up. To me, anyway, when
VoiceOver is speaking, the 16 Plus sound often seems to drop just a little
bit in volume on certain words and then come back to its normal setting
again for other words. This seems to be especially noticeable with vowel
sounds such as with words beginning with letters A and O. I first thought I
was holding the phone incorrectly or having the case cover the speaker or
something, but I guess it's just a little different sound that I might have
to get used to on the 16 phones.

Well, as I've mentioned on occasion, I do like to switch iPhones from time
to time. Thus, I traded in my 13 Mini that I purchased in November 2021
during a Walmart Black Friday sale where I got a Walmart E gift card, and
Apple has already confirmed that they will be emailing me a $185 Apple gift
card. Had I done an actual trade-in of an iPhone, I would have gotten $200
towards that new phone purchase, but I wasn't ready for that and wanted the
gift card.

Anyway, after sending in the 13 Mini to Apple, I activated the 16 Plus that
I purchased during the Walmart Black Friday sale last November. I actually
did a quick start transfer from the 15 Pro that I'm still using as my
primary line phone. And since I was doing all this via personal hotspot, and
having done this before, I had to first set up the 16 Plus, skipping all the
passwords and Siri and the like, and then transfer the secondary E SIM I had
put on my 15 Pro from my 13 Mini before sending it in. Then once I had the
SIM on the 16 Plus, I completely erased the phone but saved the SIM, and
then I was able to do the phone to phone transfer from the 15 Pro once the
16 Plus had reset. I of course then went and renamed my 16 Plus so as to
reflect its correct name in the settings/general/about section, but all the
other settings should have been the same as on my 15 Pro. And if memory
serves, I'm using the default Samantha English US voice at 50% speaking rate
and volume on both phones.
