Kevin,
I'm glad to hear that you got this going, and as soon as you figure
out how for yourself, please let the rest of us know.
I have a couple of Flash Drives which have a Lightning Port on the
one end, and a USB Type A Port on the other. Connecting the Type A
Port to a Computer, allows for the Transfer of Files between the
Computer and the Flash Drive, while Connecting the Lightning Port to
an iDevice,, allows the Content on the Flash Drive to be Accessed by
the iDevice.
All of this works quite well, but these Flash Drives are a few years
old now, and the Apps which enabled their Content to be Accessed by
an iDevice, are no longer available, in the App Store.
So on my Older iPhones, these Flash Drives still wwork, but on my
Newest One, since the Apps are no longer supported, they do
not. Clearly, I need a longer lasting solution.
Enquiring Minds Want To Know,
Daniel

Hi.
Yesterday I took my iPad and 4 TB SSD to see if they could get
anything to play from it. They were successful, but it was an
instrumental folder which didn't have much in it, but I now knew it
could be done. The next day was Mother's Day, and I had my Brother
try it. He got something to play. This evening I decided to wait out
the time for everything to be set up, and it took about 15 minutes
to load. I'm happy to report the song I played worked great. I'm
happy now. I just need to find someone to tell me how to get this
working and what can be done with the iPad. If I can't find anybody
to help, I'll do my own research.
Just wanted to let you know.
Have a blessed day and don't work too hard.
Kevin and Lily
