The difference has been in getting Hay Siri set up. The Siri app now is Apple
Intelligence and Siri; it used to be just Siri.

I'm not clear what the issues are?

How is it so different?

Allison, I just got mine, and I had to call Apple Accessibility in
order to get Hay Siri, or in my Case, just Siri, back on. I'm still trying to
work with getting Apple Intelligence on. The lady at Verizon is going to help
me tomorrow. Even my sighted son can't get Hay Siri on. He likes to be driving
and say, Siri, call Joe Blow or whoever. The lady at the store is going to help
us tomorrow.

I had no idea that 16, while still using 18.3, is so different than 14
was. He and I both had 14's; mine was a 14 Pro.

So, to answer your question, I'd call Apple Accessibility at
877-204-3930. I had to call twice, because the first time, the connection was
of such poor quality, that I simply could not understand the guy, and he did
not screen share, kept trying to tell me what to do. The second time, I could
understand the guy, and we did screen share. The problem for me was that in
getting to Talk to Siri, Voiceover did not work through the prompts after
saying say, Siri, what's the weather; it did not say for the second one, say
Siri, send a message, but the Apple guy told me each time. Now that is in my
phone. I was just surprised to find this many glitches.

I have just come home with my new iphone and have a couple of questions.

Firstly, is there a way of making the pop sound a little louder as you
swipe up the screen.

Secondly, I can’t remember how to extend the time before the Iphone
goes to sleep – where do I find this in settings please?
