I spoke with Apple Accessibility and was told I should check Settings, Accessibility, Face ID and attention and make sure Attention Aware Features Were turned off. They were not and after turning them off, I'm getting more volume when sending texts and emails.

Right, the ringtone volume is for all sounds other than VoiceOver if you have Change with Buttons off, You could try telling Siri to increase media volume and see if that has any impact on the tones.

I have audio ducking turned off but I'll turn it back on before sending this email to see if that makes a difference. I checked under Sounds and haptics in Settings and didn't see any volume adjustment settings except for the ringtone.

As far as I know, that is controlled by the sounds and haptic volume.

I have adjusted some of my costom sounds by increasing the volume in the file and replacing the old one on my phone.

But I have not noticed any changes in the iOS 18 cycle.

Is audio ducking on?

I've noticed in iOS 18.3.1 that the sound made when a text or email is sent seems to be at a considerably lower volume. Can this be adjusted?
