I hjust read an article which I believe was from 9to5Mac which stated that in tests using a MagSafe case actually improved the charging and gave you the full 7.5 Watts whereas just putting it on a wireless charger without magnet often only charged at between 4 and 6 Watts because it is much more difficult to line the phone up perfectly. If I were to get a 16E and wanted to use wireless charging I would certainly buy a good MagSafe case, Spigen and Esr as well as many others make them, so I can use the MagSafe charging stand I have.
