For some reason, I only get about three and a half hours out of mine, and I keep the volume low when I'm using them. I went to the Apple Store and had a "genius" try to figure out what the problem is, but they were no help. They told me to charge them every night, but I don't use them every day, so I see no reason to do that. Jessica
