I went with Kindle the moment the app became accessible. I have thousands of Kindle books gotten mostly when they were on sale. Apple Books has improved over the years, but I've tended to stick with Kindle since it has whatI want toread available and I've gotten used to its interface. The Kindle app keeps things hidden until you go into menus where the features are. When reading, the only thing present on the screen is your book. It works well with my Braille display.
